La Otra Orilla (The Other Shore) was founded in Montreal in 2006 through the complicity of its artistic directors Myriam Allard and Hedi Graja. Although both artists immersed themselves in the technique and spirit of flamenco during their many years in Andalusia, their signature style is resolutely contemporary and eclectic. Poetic and often tinged with humor, their works are an unexpected blend of dance, song, music, and theater.
